Google takes scoreboard a step further. Every employee can see the OKRs for every other employee through an internal site. Since employees set their own OKRs, this becomes a powerful way of establishing accountability. You are saying, “This is what you can count on me for.” It allows people to understand the interdependence between OKRs. They can see who is depending on them to deliver on their objectives and track the progress of people whose objectives their success depends on.
