The most common problem in Indonesia is the inequality in the distribution of revenues between high-income communities and low-income community groups. Income inequality is one of the phenomena of heterogeneness. It can be seen from the conditions between locations one with another different. This research aims to determine the modeling of income gaps in the province of special region of Yogyakarta as well as to know the factors that influence it in the year 2012-2016. The dependent variable used is the Gini ratio while the independent variables consist of HDI, number of population, poverty rate, economic growth rate, open unemployment rate and MSES. The method used is Geographically Weighted Panel Regression (GWR-Panel). The estimated parameter used is Weighted Least Square (WLS). The conclusion gained from this research is a GWR-Panel model significantly different with the model data regression panel and the resulting model for each location will be different from other locations.
