The water-cooled condenser is the environmental working medium for water, and its work is to heat or cool the room by exchanging heat with the water and then entering the room by circulating water. The water-cooled condenser is characterized by its high heat transfer efficiency and compact structure, so it is suitable for large, medium and small refrigeration devices. When using water-cooled condenser, it is necessary to set up a cooling water system, and scaling will occur on the water side, which needs to be cleaned regularly. The structure of water-cooled condenser is the most, which can be divided into shell-and-tube type, plate-fin type, plate (sheet) type, spiral plate type, sleeve type, shell-coil type, shower type and so on. Among them, the shell-and-tube type is larger in volume and heavier in weight, but it has the advantages of high pressure resistance, easy design and mature manufacturing technology, so it is the most widely used at present. The plate-fin structure is usually aluminum full brazing structure, which has the highest heat transfer coefficient, the smallest volume and the lightest weight, and its pressure resistance is 1.6 to 1.8 MPA as a condenser, but its design is complex, the manufacturing cost is high, and it is not easy to remove scale. The plate (sheet) type is usually stainless steel full brazing structure, which has the highest heat transfer coefficient, small volume, light weight, pressure resistance of 2.8 to 3.2 MPA, complex design, highest manufacturing cost and chemical cleaning of scale. The plate type can greatly reduce the volume and weight of the refrigerator, which has been used on a large scale. The spiral plate type has lower voltage resistance and less application. Sleeve type and shell coil type are large in volume and heavy in weight, so they are only suitable for small refrigeration systems and are gradually being replaced by air-cooled condensers. The shower type has been eliminated because of its large volume, large weight, low heat transfer coefficient and difficult to clean outside the tube.
