In this paper, the principle of the MZ interference-type optical fiber sensor is deeply explored, the advantages and disadvantages of various optical fibers are analyzed, and the uniqueness of the PCF used in the experiment is introduced. In the research based on MZ interference caused by fiber misalignment fusion, in order to improve the sensitivity of the sensor, the D-groove was etched using the side polishing method and SCA was programmed to detect the smaller amount of environmental changes, and a MZ misalignment D Type PCF refractive index sensor with high sensitivity.
