Basic principles for securing the unit loads in container by lashing: <br> The lashings should be positioned to cross the back side of the unit loads, in order to adhere to Loading Units, which may move in the container.<br> On the edges of the unit loads where these are in contact with the lashing, place corner protectors to avoid damages on the Loading Units.  Secure that there are no airbags between the lashing and unit load.<br> While fastening the lashing, it should be tightened, at the same time it has to be made sure, that the lashing does not damage the unit load (see picture).
