Within 24 hours, coating 1 had the strongest bacteriostatic ability, and the bacteriostatic effect on E.coli was more than 60% after 6 hours of co culture, while coating 3 had the weakest bacteriostatic effect, which was about 10% after 6 hours. The difference may be due to the diffusion of Ag in the coating structure to the matrix, the increase of Ag nanoparticles formation and the decrease of Ag + concentration during the heat treatment process, which results in the decrease of antibacterial properties of the coating.
