Taking the intelligent factory of steel industry as an example, the intelligent steel mill reference model based on digital virtual technology is proposed, and six intelligent management platforms are established on the basis of data, which make use of digital-driven enabling equipment, quality, logistics, cost, energy ring and performance management change. This paper introduces how digital technology drives the above six aspects of management change, and puts forward that on the basis of the construction of digital virtual production line, the production line of the up and down processes is threaded through five chains, and applied to the whole production system to contribute to the management change of steel enterprises.

In this paper, the application of digital virtual technology in steel production line is studied, and the differences among digital twin technology, digital coil technology and digital virtual technology are analyzed.
