This thesis is divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction, including the research background, research purpose and the framework of the article. The second part is the literature review, which mainly includes the theoretical basis of participatory teaching method and the research of predecessors at abroad and home. The third part is the analysis of the current situation of College Students’ oral English, including three aspects of teachers’ teaching, students themselves and language environment. The fourth part is the application strategy of participatory teaching method in college oral English teaching. The fifth part is the conclusion of this thesis.
