It has been shown that RT densified nano-vaterite component exhibited higher mechanical properties than that of several state-of-the-art construction materials such as stone or concrete . In a recent variant work by Jiang et al., used an isostatic pressure to densify the silica components instead of the uniaxial pressure at RT, and named the process as cold hydrostatic sintering [198]. In Table 2 ceramic compositions currently produced by RTD,processing conditions and the obtained properties are given.
