In this article, we propose a simple and inexpensive method to make polypyrrole (PPy) coated superhydrophobic and super lipophilic cotton fabrics. The cotton fabric absorbs Fe3+ and introduces low-surface energy substance stearic acid (SA), and then the pyrrole monomer is reduced by Fe3+ to polypyrrole (PPy) by vapor deposition to obtain a superhydrophobic cotton fabric with photothermal conversion properties. This feature enables cotton fabrics to use light-to-heat conversion to increase the efficiency of selectively absorbing heavy oil from water.

In this paper, we propose an easy and inexpensive way to make ultra-hydrophobic and super-oil-friendly cotton fabrics coated with polypides (PPy). Cotton fabric adsorption Fe3 plus the introduction of low-surface energy substance stearic acid (SA), and then the pyridine monomer by vapor deposition method by Fe3 plus reduced to polypidium (PPy), to obtain a photothermal conversion performance of ultra-hydrophobic cotton fabric. In this paper, we propose a simple and cheap method to manufacture super hydrophobic and super lipophilic cotton fabrics coated with polypyrrole (PPy). Stearic acid (SA) with low surface energy was introduced into cotton fabric after Fe3 + was adsorbed, and then pyrrole monomer was reduced to polypyrrole (PPy) by vapor deposition method to obtain superhydrophobic cotton fabric with photothermal conversion performance. This property enables the cotton fabric to improve the efficiency of selective absorption of heavy oil from water by using the function of photothermal conversion<br>
