In this paper, soybean oil and palm oil with methanol and methanol to obtain fatty acid methyl ester interchange reaction catalyst as NaOH. Through experiments, the optimal conditions for soybean oil ester exchange reaction were: 1.1% of the catalyst, 400rmp at stirring speed, 60min reaction time, 60oC reaction temperature, and the optimal conditions for palm oil ester exchange reaction were 0.5% of the catalyst, 700rmp of stirring, 60min reaction time, 50c reaction temperature.

In this paper, fatty acid methyl esters were synthesized by transesterification of soybean oil with methanol and palm oil with methanol using NaOH as catalyst. The effects of catalyst NaOH dosage, stirring speed, reaction time and temperature on the reaction were studied. The yield of fatty acid methyl ester in the products with different reaction factors was measured by GC.
