It is a common truth that universities teach students a lot of academic knowledge, but no one can deny the importance of work experiences. For students, the aim of going to university is to acquire knowledge andto find a better job. However, if they only focus on books, what they have learnt will not be enough for to get a good job. In my opinion, students’ needs are the most important and universities should not only pass on knowledge but also train them with work skills. With these two aspects combined, universities play a significant role in the society. All in all, knowledge is just the foundation of our learning system. Universities should design hands-on activities for students to change theories to practice. Only making knowledge useful is meaningful to the society.
