Vinyl ketone process, also known as acetic acid cracking process, is a low-pressure and high-temperature reaction to produce acetic acid from acetic acid. Raw materials and triethylphosphate were used as catalysts. The whole process is divided into two steps. First, the gas phase acetic acid breaks to produce vinyl ketone, then absorbs acetic acid and vinyl ketone to produce crude acid hydrides, and obtains higher purity acetic acid through distillation and purification. The biggest characteristic of this method is that the production process is complex, there are many side effects, and the energy consumption is large. In addition, the quality requirements for acetic acid in the acetic acid cracking part are relatively low, and other devices and recovered acetic acid can be used. Therefore, this method is still widely used in the early construction of equipment at home and abroad. Ketene is the product of acetic acid cracking and an important intermediate. It can be used as raw materials for the production of pesticides and food preservatives. This product is not formed during carbonization. Therefore, the cracking process of vinyl ketone is very feasible.
