Abstract: with the change of the times, the growth and application of DSP technology and the continuous demand of the hospital for modernization, people's demand for intelligent medical treatment in the hospital is deepening day by day. Signal processing is mainly used to assist the research of biomedical basic theory and for diagnosis, inspection and monitoring in the biomedical field. It is used in the basic theoretical research of cytology, neurology, cardiology, genetics, etc. In this processing system, the transmission and processing of information are carried out in parallel, and have special functions. Even if one part of the system has obstacles, the other parts can still work, which is impossible for the computer. In addition, the research of neural cell model, chromosome function and so on can be carried out by the principle and technology of signal processing. This paper describes the definition, advantages and main clinical applications of DSP, aiming to understand the application of DSP in biomedicine.<br>
