AbstractThe proposal of quality education has a very deep international and domestic background, embodies the distinctive characteristics of the times and humanistic ideals, and contains the universal requirements for education that are extremely rich in social, economic and cultural development. English education is an important part of basic education. Therefore, it also shoulders the responsibility and obligation to implement quality education. The core of the new English syllabus is to implement the idea of quality education and cultivate students' initial ability to use English for communication.
