Pre-stress reinforcement is a method of reinforcing the structure with an additional pre-stressed steel lever (three horizontal levers, lower support levers and combined levers) or steel bouts. It can change the internal force distribution of the original structure and reduce its stress level with little change of use space, so that the carrying capacity of the structure can be improved. It is suitable for the reinforcement of large-span or heavy-duty structures and the reinforcement of concrete components in high stress and strain conditions. This method is not applicable to concrete structures with temperatures above 60 degrees C, otherwise protective treatment should be carried out, nor should it be suitable for concrete structures with coagulation and shrinkage.
