Recently,our school has had a survey on reading literature.It shows two kinds of different views 65% of students believe that it is a necessity to read literature.There are some reasons.Firstly,reading comforts ones mood and makes of releasing pressure.However,the group of students held an opinion that reading is wasting their valuable time.They have no patience to spend time in enjoying a literature .Besides,it is inconvenient that a literature work is too heavy to carry on all the time.The most important reason is that reading literature is not included in the examination.So,it is not a must in students life.In my point of view,i suppose that reading is advantageous to people including teachers and students.Reading can broaden peoples horizon.It also improve reading and writing skills. As a main guider in the class,teachers should spare no effort to encourage students to do some reading.Besides,teachers have to help students learn to read.For example,teachers can communicate reading skills including skimming scanning or deep reading to their students.What is more,teachers should set a good example owing that students always imitate the actions of teachers.Therefore,teachers should cultivate the awarness of lifelong learning and put it into practice.In a word,no matter how old you are or what you are doing,reading is vital in ones life.Start to reading and you will find its charms.
