2.8 Fixture Check Elements 2.8.1 Detail fixture design should incorporate a check element for all features explicitly controlled with GD&T. 2.8.2 All critical characteristics, as per the GD&T, require variable data gathering capability, unless otherwise approved by TSL 2.8.3 All pins shall be sized as per GD&T, with manufacturing tolerances specified in Section 4.2. 2.8.4 All stab pins must be a locational slip fit into their respective bushings. A locational slip fit is defined as an H7/h6 fit on a hole basis, as per ISO System of Limits and Fits. 2.8.5 All check pin bushings must be rigidly located to the gauge. Locational tolerance can be found is Section 4.2.
