Abstract: The field of "comprehensive and practical" mathematics in primary schools has been further paid more attention after it has been included in the curriculum standards of compulsory education. However, due to the relatively late appearance of this field, after investigating the teaching situation of Jinkangyuan Primary School, it is found that the frequency of carrying out is relatively small, lack of attention, teachers' understanding needs to be improved, the establishment of teaching objectives and teaching subjects there are misunderstandings, students' opportunities for self-learning and hands-on operation is few, and teaching reflection and teaching evaluation is not enough. Therefore, in view of the existing problems, the effective teaching strategy is put forward, so that the primary school mathematics "comprehensive and practical" highlights the real value.
