Teaching evaluation, as a powerful yardstick to test the effectiveness of teaching, has always been one of the research topics that researchers in the educational field attach importance to and discuss hotly. As an indispensable part of basic education, the soundness and perfection of English evaluation system will directly affect the effectiveness of English teaching and the healthy and all-round development of students. This paper tries to analyze the existing problems in the evaluation of English teaching in high school, analyze and summarize the shortcomings existing in the current English teaching evaluation system, and use the method of educational information processing to propose targeted improvement strategies, in order to provide some valuable reference for further improving the English education evaluation system.
