The purpose of this study is to propose an effective method of applying peer support to group interaction in English reading class. Therefore, the main purpose of this study is to investigate the role of peer support in group interaction, and to achieve an effective understanding of peer support in group interaction. The ultimate purpose of this study is to find a suitable way to use peer support in English reading class, to prove that reading learners can benefit from the help of their peers in the interaction process, and hope to promote the application of peer support in College English reading class and improve students' reading ability. Of course, this study hopes to provide some insights into the teaching practice of junior high school English teachers, which will help learners' language development.<br>
