The influence of the geometric structure change of the trailing edge of the centrifugal impeller on the performance of the model is analyzed. For a centrifugal impeller with thickened blades at both ends of the arc, after the trailing edge of the blade is milled along the disc (wheel cover), the total pressure ratio and energy head coefficient of the impeller show a translational decrease in all operating conditions, and there are more impellers. The variable efficiency, flow range and velocity distribution of the impeller outlet airflow are almost unaffected.

The influence of the change of centrifugal impeller tail edge geometry on model-level performance is analyzed. For centrifugal impellers with thickening at both ends of the medium arc, after the blade tail edge is milled along the roulette wheel (wheel cover), the total impeller pressure ratio and energy head coefficient show a translational decrease in all operating conditions, and the impeller's variable efficiency, flow range and speed distribution of impeller outlet air flow are almost unaffected.
