Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (PEMFC) systems have received growing attention in the literature for stationary and portable power generation. The main advantage of PEMFC isthe capability to generate power with high efficiency, reduced on-site emissions and fast response to load changes.The ideal fuel for PEMFC is hydrogen with low carbon monoxide content to avoid poisoning of the fuel cell. Despite the great potential of PEMFC, implementation of a hydrogen supply chain on a relatively large scale is quitecomplex and technical, economical and safety issues still need to be addressed before hydrogen can be distributed from large production sites to end users to generate power with PEMFC. A possible way to overcome these difficulties is to generate hydrogen on site, reforming an easily transportable fuel in a compact fuel processor
