In the process of modern teaching, traditional blackboard writing and PPT are important means of classroom teaching, but when teachers use these two teaching methods, the teaching effect may be poor. This paper analyzes the characteristics of teachers' use of traditional blackboard writing and PPT teaching methods at this stage. Taking the section of "plant cells" in junior high school biology as an example, three teaching methods are used for teaching design and effect analysis, so as to draw the conclusion that traditional blackboard writing should be combined with ppt efficiently, and put forward suggestions. This study provides some reference for improving the classroom efficiency of middle school biology teaching and promoting the formulation of middle school biology teaching strategies.Key words: traditional blackboard writing; ppt; biology teaching; junior high school biology; plant cells;
