• Vertical Adjustment: Adjusting the pivot cord length (by a simple bowsie adjustment) allows you to power-up or depower your upper sails quickly, and overall rig balance is not affected. If the pivot is lengthened from our base settings (less forestay/rig tension) you get increased camber in the upper area of sails to power-up. If the pivot is shortened (more forestay/rig tension), the upper mainsail and headsail flatten, allowing you to point higher with less heeling.
