This paper presents a method and system for simultaneous multi- parameter measurement of combustion based on deflection tomography and PIV and is organized as follows. Section 2 introduces the measure- ment theories of PIV and optical deflection tomography. Section 3 de- scribes the experimental measurement system. Section 4 presents the experiments performed to synchronously measure the temperature and velocity distributions of a non-premixed flame and discusses the mea- surement errors. Finally, Section 5 summarises the results.
