Centrifugal pump is the most widely used general machinery in various fields of national economy, but the centrifugal pump must be filled with a certain amount of water before use, and the suction lift is generally not high, which restricts the development of centrifugal pump. Based on this, a new type of vacuum centrifugal pump is designed, which is composed of rotary vane vacuum pump and centrifugal pump. The vacuum is pumped by rotary vane vacuum pump, the atmospheric pressure will put the water pressure into the centrifugal pump, and then the water is drained by centrifugal pump to achieve the purpose of pumping water. This paper designs the structure of the new vacuum centrifugal pump, expounds its working principle, analyzes the feasibility of the new vacuum centrifugal pump, selects the typical components of the new vacuum centrifugal pump, and verifies them through experiments. The results show that the design of the new vacuum centrifugal pump is feasible, which avoids the trouble of filling and water diversion, The utility model has the advantages of convenient operation and high degree of automation, improves the suction lift and working efficiency of the pump, and provides a test basis for the application of the pump.
