Using the technique of returning branches to the field, we studied the effects of different returning modes on soil properties and apple quality. The study found that returning branches to the field has the effect of buffering soil temperature and increasing soil moisture content, especially in March to June each year due to soil temperature. The results showed that returning branches to field could buffer soil temperature and increase soil water content, especially from March to June every year, because of the low soil temperature, apple flowering was delayed, and the effect of "late spring cold" on Apple was avoided.<br>
