Berberine, also known as berberine, can be used in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, can be used as a cardioprotective agent to protect a variety of cardiac toxicity. Doxorubicin (doxorubicin, DOX) is an anthracycline antibiotic with broad anti-tumor spectrum and high clinical efficacy. Doxorubicin is the first-line drug for the treatment of a variety of malignant tumors. However, due to its high myocardial affinity, high-dose DOX can lead to severe acute myocardial injury and heart failure. The main mechanism of DOX induced cardiac injury is to induce cardiomyocyte apoptosis, which involves oxidative stress, p53 pathway, caspase-3 pathway, Ca2 + pathway, p38mark pathway, P13K / Akt pathway and so on. Berberine has obvious antagonism to dox induced myocardial injury, but its detailed mechanism is still unclear. In this study, on the basis of traditional animal and cell experimental methods, cardiac myocytes derived from embryonic stem cells were added as a research tool, which solved the problem that human cardiac myocytes were difficult to obtain in vitro. It can be compared with the results of animal cell experiments. The mechanism of berberine on DOX induced myocardial injury will be discussed from multiple perspectives, so as to provide a reference for berberine cardiac protection It can provide more exact theoretical basis for clinical application.<br>
