Notably Chad's Doba crude has seen its value relative to the benchmark Dated Brent hit a recordpremium as demand for the grade has surged as it is sought after to produce low sulfur fuel oil.The grade on May 10 hit a record $2.20/barrel premium to Dated Brent. In contrast the record low for the grade since assessments began in August 2015 was a $10/barrel discount to Dated Brent seen at the end of November 2015.
