½ teaspoon salt,or to taste1 tablespoon unbleached whiteflour1 teaspoons cuminseeds2 cups vegetable oil or ghee for deep-frying ¸ of a walnut, then flatten them out into thickpatties.In a thick-bottomed saucepan or wok, heat the vegetable oil or ghee. Immerse the patties in the hot oil and deep-fry until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon, letting the excess oil drip back into the pan. Drain further on paper towels. Serve hot.
