In this study, social and cultural theory to literature research and survey research methods for the study through classroom observations, questionnaires in the form of a grade Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, the second 48 Middle School English teacher and student to investigate, combined with the status quo and the findings of the questionnaire and classroom observation of teaching reading of the year and disadvantages were analyzed.

Based on social and cultural theory and based on literature research methods and investigation methods, this study conducted a survey of English teachers and students in a grade of the 28th Middle School in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, in the form of a questionnaire, after classroom observation. Combined with the results of questionnaire and classroom observation, the present situation and deficiency of reading teaching in this grade are analyzed comprehensively.

Based on the theory of social culture, with the methods of literature research and investigation, this study investigates the English teachers and students of a grade in Guiyang No.28 Middle School of Guizhou Province through classroom observation and questionnaire, and makes a comprehensive analysis of the current situation and shortcomings of reading teaching in this grade combined with the results of questionnaire and classroom observation.
