The induction heating treatment applied to the Marshall samples described above involved the application of an alternating current of 400 A at a frequency of 348 kHz through a square and flat 15 × 15 cm2 coil, which generated an output power of 2800 W (Figure 4). The initial temperature of all the samples was set as 20 ± 2°C and the distance between the coil and the upper surface of samples was 1 cm. As explained, different heating durations, namely 0, 60, 120, 180, and 240 s, were used.
