Based on the node-site model theory, this paper holds that the traffic function of each mode of transportation is biased, that is, the function of the node or the location is biased. On this basis, from the aspects of transportation completeness, scale and transportation function, we build the comprehensive traffic function perfection index system of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and focus on building the node function model based on the accessibility of the transportation network and the site function model based on the contact strength of the node city space. Using spatial syntax, gravity model and GIS spatial analysis, we can comprehensively analyze and evaluate the functional perfection of the Yangtze River Economic Belt from many aspects and perspectives: on the one hand, from the perspective of the type of transportation and the classification criteria, grasp the current degree of transportation completeness and the scale of transportation hub, and carry out spatial expression, on the other hand, Combined with DepthMap software and ArcGIS software to calculate the accessibility of transportation networks and the spatial contact intensity of node cities, they represent the node functions of different types of transportation networks and the location functions of different types of transportation hubs. And from the spatial distribution and spatial aggregation comparison to analyze the different and similarity of traffic functions under different modes of transportation. Through the weighted overlay of the above results, the improvement of the comprehensive traffic function of the Yangtze River Economic Belt is evaluated.
