Based on ANSYS software, the finite element model of the entire tower crane was established, the strength and rigidity of the tower crane boom were analyzed, the stress distribution of the boom structure was obtained, and the dangerous points of the boom operation were determined. Compared with foreign tower cranes, they all have the advantages of light weight, large lifting capacity, accurate service life, clear replacement cycle and so on. With the development of my country's economy and the large-scale application of tower cranes, the entry of foreign tower crane manufacturers will inevitably have an impact on domestic tower crane manufacturers. It is urgent to improve the design level of tower cranes. Therefore, I hope that my research can contribute to the development of tower cranes.
