I have updated footwear inner box testing. In the past, factories were required to do GE-29 wet rubbing on both sides. In the mean time, Rob sent out a memo that this test should be used only as a reference not a pass/fail criteria. It was a little confusing and not consistent across all regions. Also, this test was ineffective because of the damage to the box with water. Now we would like to replace this test with GE-29 textile cloth dry rubbing with 50 cycles both backside and frontside. The requirement stays the same as 4-5. PDM has already been set up to reflect this change. Sourcing and lab have been aligned.
