Because of the increase of economic development scale and the rapid growth of population, people are paying more and more attention to the construction of houses, railways, bridges and high-rise buildings in karst areas. Pile foundation is the main construction project in karst area. To carry out pile foundation construction in karst area, first of all, we should make full use of the favorable conditions, through the investigation of karst geology, understand the characteristics of karst geomorphic function, master the distribution of its morphological characteristics, and on this basis, provide reference for the selection of appropriate pile foundation construction technology for construction projects in karst area. The construction technology of pile foundation, the connectivity of karst, the height of groundwater level, the nature of filling materials in the gap between caves, the development degree of karst, the construction environment and the transportation of construction machinery in karst area all affect the formation of pile foundation and play a decisive role. At the same time, the suitable construction methods of pile foundation in karst area include manual digging, drilling and percussion, and the quality evaluation of pile foundation construction technology includes the integrity of foundation pile and the concrete strength of pile body.
