We assessed the effect of safety of intralesional triamcinolone versus the combination of triamcinolone with 5-fluorouracil on five outcomes: scar height, erythema score, observer assessment, patient self-assessment, and complications. We analysed scar height and erythema score at study end as continuous variables and calculated as mean difference (MD). The analyses of the proportion of participants achieving significant improvement in the observer assessment and patient self-assessment and those having complications, were calculated as an overall odds ratio(OR).
