Please give a brief analysis on “Elegy Written in a Country Churchyard”.The poem is simple in form. It is in four-line stanzas in iambic pentameter.  Each stanza rhymes abab. After Gray’s poem became famous, writers and critics began referring to the heroic quatrain as the elegiac stanza. (3分) Life is short, transitory, as Line 36 makes clear: The paths of glory lead but to the grave. Because of poverty or other handicaps, many talented people never receive the opportunities they deserve. Gray explains in his poem that it does not matter how successful or rich you are, you will still die. Death does not care who you are. You will eventually reside with all people (poor and wealthy) within the graveyard.
