It is most of all, to be addressed that it would not be obvious for the skilled person in the art to combine D1 with D5, in view of the entirely different subjects to be woven (i.e., rush textile such as tatami in D1 vs. shoe upper in D5). This becomes evident from the purpose of D1 which lies in provision of a tightly woven rush textile (see abstract of Dl) whereas the shoe upper of D5 requires a breathability zone which should not be so tight (see paragraph [0143] of D5).
