4.5.6. Chemical Composition: Scanning electron microscope (SEM) equipped with energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS) shall be applied for determining the chemical composition of anodic coating. EDS detector shall be calibrated per practices recommended by instrument manufacturer. The concentration of each detected species shall be reported in wt. %.4.5.7. Crazing: Optical microscope or SEM shall be applied for determining the maximum width of craze lines. Magnification shall be no less than 1000.4.5.8. Microhardness: Microhardness of anodic coatings shall be measured in accordance with test methods defined in ASTM E384.4.5.9. Cleanliness: Surface cleanliness of anodic coatings shall be determined in accordance with methods defined in Applied Materials Specification 0250-01264. This wipe test is only applied to the parts before sending out for final cleaning at Applied Material approved cleaning supplier.4.5.10. Visual Inspection: Visual inspection with normal vision shall be performed in accordance with the cosmetic viewing table defined in 10.5 of Applied Materials Specification 0250-01019. Unless otherwise specified, the magnification applied for validating flaws or imperfections shall be no greater than 10.
