(1) This paper introduces the characteristics of traffic signal control and the basic theory of logic rule control, and analyzes the feasibility of logic rule control theory in traffic signal control (2) Based on the logic rule control theory, the optimization control model of trunk system and regional network are studied. In the optimal control model of the trunk system, the basic theory of the coordinated control of the trunk system is introduced firstly, the elements of the formation of the trunk system are analyzed, and then the optimal control algorithm based on the logic rules is proposed for the specific control model of the trunk system. In the regional network optimization control model, firstly, the characteristics of regional network traffic system are introduced, and the principle of sub region division of regional network system is analyzed. Then, an optimal control algorithm based on logical rules is proposed for the specific regional network model (3) The simulation software is used to simulate the traffic operation and parameters of the main line system and the regional network system under the timing control mode and the logic rule-based optimization control mode. The simulation results show that the traffic signal control system based on the logic rule control algorithm can effectively improve the traffic capacity of the intersection and reduce the vehicle delay, which is obviously better than the traditional timing control method; (4) The hardware circuit is designed to verify the rationality and feasibility of the design.
