An electrical shortcut between the jack and the socket can cause the GPIOM to react as if the PTTwas pressed while the jack is plugged into the socket. Take into account that when a jack is plugged in with the latched PTT then the PTT signal is generated, regardless of the electrical shortcut. Additionally, if there is a mobile inbound call (PTT from mobile) on a selected TG while the headset jack is being plugged into the socket and the problem described above appears, then this causes an audio preemption on the TG, as the PTT from the console has higher priority than the PTT from mobile. That is why in order to avoid such situation the user should unselectall TGs before plugging in or plugging out the headset and then reselect them again.
