Thank you for the information, however we need to know what device is connected to the wire leads from each logger.
What type of connection is used on the two logger wires?
If you can photograph the connections, that may assist us.
For your information, the preferred switch type for the logger input should be type normally open contacts. For maximum battery life, the event input should be used with its preferred switch type.
The logger will work with normally closed switches, but battery life will be compromised.
So, if you would supply us with some more detailed information on exactly what is being measured and how the loggers are attached to the measuring device, that would help.
Another word of caution, do not leave the shuttle adapter connected to the logger when the logger is deployed.
That will also degrade battery performance.
Lastly, we would like you to configure the loggers to also log the battery performance.
In HOBOWare, go to FILE / PREFERENCES / DISPLAY / SERIES / check off "Show the option to log battery". Then relaunch each logger and in the "sensors" section of the launch screen, select the the "Logger's Battery Voltage" option.
Let each logger run for a day or so and send us the HOBO files from each.
Thank you for your cooperation.
