This paper aims at Hunan Chenzhou Mining Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hunan Chenzhou Mining") in the ordinary lathe processing shaft parts of the end face and center hole when there are low production efficiency, poor hole depth size homogeneity, requiring workers to have a higher level of technology, after the company's ordinary lathe mechanical transmission and electrical automatic control system technical transformation: that is, only retain the main drive system of the original machine tool (front end connection center hole drill), add a mill shaft structure. The motion of the spindle is transferred to the mill by gear meshing, and two tools are rotated at the same time (main motion), while the company's mechanical manufacturing department scientifically uses PLC to control two stepper motor drive workpieces to achieve duplex propulsion, and to convert an idle old ordinary lathe into a CNC machining end face and a special machine tool for the center hole.
