Abstract: Objective To observe the quality and effect of PDCA nursing management on PICC catheterization of elderly malignant tumors. Methods 56 elderly patients with malignant tumors in our department after the implementation of PDCA nursing management in May 2017 were selected as the observation group; 50 elderly malignant tumors who underwent routine care management from January 2016 to April 2017 were selected into the control group. Both groups received PICC catheterization. After one month of management, the nursing effect, quality of nursing and occurrence of adverse events of PICC catheter were compared between the two groups.
