As children's favorite literary work style, fairy tales bring a lot of joy and spiritual power to children. The use of fairy tales in the small classes of kindergartens is essential to improve children's aesthetic awareness and ability, and it is also an important method to promote small-class teaching for children. By combining interview and observation methods, this paper conducts a field investigation on the small class teaching in Yichuan Village, Putuo District, Shanghai, and realizes the goal setting and selection of teaching content of fairy tales in the kindergarten small class. The interviews learned about the problems in the use of fairy tales in the kindergarten small class.
