Fairy tales, as a literary work style loved by children, bring many joy and spiritual strength to children. The application of fairy tales in kindergarten grade is very important to improve children's aesthetic consciousness and ability, and also an important method to promote the teaching of children's small class. This paper, by combining interview and observation, makes a field investigation on the teaching of the kindergarten small class in Yichuan village, Putuo District, Shanghai, so as to realize the goal setting and content selection of the teaching of fairy tales in the kindergarten small class grade.
