Gearbox oil leakage is a common phenomenon, but in the use process, oil leakage seriously affects the continuous production, causes serious pollution to the surrounding environment, and has a corrosive effect on the foundation. Causes of oil leakage: (1) according to Boyle's law PV = RT, as the operation time increases, the temperature of the gearbox increases, while the volume remains unchanged, so the pressure in the gearbox increases. Because of the oil permeability, where the seal is not good, where will leak. (2) The design and calculation of thin oil lubrication system of gearbox are unreasonable. The following steps shall be followed: determine the total oil consumption according to the power loss and heat generation of the friction contact parts; draw the lubrication system diagram; calculate and select the lubrication equipment and parts; select the pipe size and check the hydraulic loss, and then draw the formal working diagram. (3) The assembly operation is not standard, such as the sealing ring is deformed after knocking. Principle and method of ensuring sealing: (1) pressure balance. Set the appropriate hood. After 5 minutes of high-speed continuous operation of the transmission, touch the hood by hand, and the pressure difference is large, which indicates that the hood should be increased or raised. (2) Smooth flow. Set the oil return groove hole so that the oil will not stay at the shaft head seal to prevent gradual seepage.
