The rotor comprises two compartments: one cleaningchamber and one drive chamber. The oil flows from thecenter pipe to the top part of the rotor where a highcentrifugal force is applied to it. Thus, dirt is depositedon the walls of the rotor in the form of thick sludge. The oil then flows from the cleaning-separatingcompartment into the drive compartment, including thecentral tube support and the lower part of the rotor, whichhas two jet nozzles. The clean oil jetting from the nozzlestorque drives the rotor. The oil returns to the enginesump via the housing.
