The reduced sintering temperature of 1145 °C (by ≈ 50 °C) minimised the volatilisation of the alkali metals, contributing to good ferroelectric, piezoelectric, and dielectric properties. Its piezoelectric coefficient, dielectric constant, dielectric loss at 10 kHz, and remnant polarisation and coercive field were 131 pC/N, 10922, 0.0486, 17.3 C cm–2 and 8.3 kV cm–1, respectively.
